How to use custom fonts in WeWeb?

Step 1: Understand What You Need

Before you begin the process of uploading custom fonts to WeWeb, make sure you have the necessary font files ready. WeWeb accepts the following font file formats: TTF, OTF, WOFF, WOFF2, and EOT. Also, ensure you're authorized to use the fonts you want to upload.

Step 2: Go to your WeWeb Dashboard

Start the process by logging into your WeWeb account. Once you've successfully logged in, you'll find yourself on your WeWeb dashboard. This is the control center where you manage all aspects of your WeWeb site, including its aesthetics.

Step 3: Navigate to the Fonts Section

On the dashboard, you'll find several options in a side panel. Locate and click on "Fonts". This will open the Fonts section of your dashboard where you can manage everything related to the fonts used on your website.

Step 4: Upload your Custom Font

In the fonts section, you'll find an option to upload a custom font. Click on the 'Upload Font' button and a dialogue box will pop up. Use this to navigate through your computer's files and locate the custom font file you want to upload. If the font file is in an acceptable format, you can proceed to upload it.

Step 5: Name your Font

After you've selected your font file, you need to give it a name. This is the name that will appear on your font list in the WeWeb editor. Try to choose a name that is both memorable and descriptive. Avoid special characters or spaces in the font name for ease of application. After naming, click on 'Upload' to complete the upload process.

Step 6: Use your Custom Font

Now that you've uploaded your custom font, it's time to use it on your website. Go to your WeWeb site editor by clicking on ‘Editor’ option from your dashboard. In the editor, select the text box or area where you want to use your custom font. On the text settings, look for 'Font' and from the drop-down list of available fonts, select the name of your newly uploaded custom font.

Now you've successfully used a custom font on your WeWeb site. Remember, the beauty of using custom fonts is that they can make your site look unique and align better with your brand image. Experiment with different fonts till you find the look that's just right for your site.
