How to set up biometric authentication on a WeWeb platform?

Step 1: Log into your WeWeb Account

The first step towards setting up biometric authentication on WeWeb is to log in to your account. Go to the WeWeb official website and enter your email address and password to sign in. If you do not have an account, create one by choosing the "Sign Up" option.

Step 2: Navigate to Your Account Settings

Once logged in, navigate to your account profile. This is usually found on the upper right side of your screen. It will be represented by a small account icon or your profile picture if you have uploaded one. Click on it and a drop-down menu will appear. Select the "Settings" option from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: Go to the Security Settings

In the Account Settings, you will find multiple options including Account Information, Password, Privacy, and Security. Click on "Security" to proceed.

Step 4: Select Biometric Authentication

Under the Security Settings, look for an option labelled "Biometric Authentication", "Two-Factor Authentication" or something similar. Click this option to perform the next steps relating to setting up biometric authentication.

Step 5: Set Up Your Biometric Data

Once you've clicked the Biometric Authentication option, the system may request for your fingerprint, face recognition or eye scan. Follow the prompts by placing your finger on the sensor or positioning your face or eye in front of the camera.

Please note that biometric data used will largely depend on the device you're using to access WeWeb. If your device does not have an inbuilt fingerprint scanner or camera, you might not be able to use the biometric authentication feature. Also, your device needs to support the specific form of biometric authentication you chose.

Step 6: Confirm Your Biometric Data

After you've entered your biometric data, you have to confirm it. If you're using fingerprints, the system will ask you to place your finger on the sensor again. If you're using face recognition or an eye scan, you will be asked to scan your face or eye again. This is done to ensure the initial scan was correct.

Step 7: Save Your Settings

After confirming your biometric data, make sure you save your settings. There should be a "Save" button located somewhere on the page. After clicking on it, your changes will be saved and your biometric authentication will be set up.

From now on, each time you log into your WeWeb account, you'll be prompted to authenticate using your biometric data, thereby increasing the level of security on your account.
