How to set up a podcast page in WeWeb?

Step 1: Create a WeWeb Account

The first thing to do is to visit the WeWeb website at www.weweb.io and create an account. You can do this by clicking on the "Sign Up" button, where you'll be asked to provide your email address and a password. The email address will be used as your login, so ensure it's one that you have constant access to.

Step 2: Start a New Website

Once you have created your account and logged in, you'll find yourself on the dashboards. This is where you will be able to view a summary of all your websites. If it's your first time, it's likely empty. You can start a new website by clicking the "New Website" button.

Step 3: Choose Your Template

You will be prompted to choose a template for your website. This is essentially the base structure and design that your website will be built upon. It's suggested to opt for a blog or portfolio template, as these typically come with features that might be beneficial to a podcast, such as places to embed media, sections for descriptions, and author biographies.

Step 4: Customize Your Website Name

Once you have a template, you would need to name your website. For convenience, you could name it after your podcast. This will keep people from being confused when navigating from your podcast to your website.

Step 5: Build Your Podcast Page

Your next step will be to build your podcast page. On the sidebar of your WeWeb editor, click on the "+Add" button, and then select "Page". You can name this page "Podcast".

Step 6: Add Your Podcast Content

On your new podcast page, you can start adding relevant content and media related to your podcast. For instance, you can create a text box for a brief synopsis of each episode, include photos or graphics representing each episode, and embed your podcast from whatever hosting platform you use.

Step 7: Organize Your Content

For ease of navigation for your listeners, consider organizing your podcast episodes in a systematic order. This could be chronological, with newer episodes appearing first, or grouped into seasons or themes. Remember to include a description for each episode.

Step 8: Add Social Sharing Buttons

Add social sharing buttons that direct visitors to your various podcast pages on platforms such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever else your podcast is available.

Step 9: Customizing your Podcast Page

You can further customize your podcast page by changing the background color, adding images or changing the font style. With WeWeb's intuitive drag and drop interface, this can easily be done by selecting the elements and adjusting them as necessary.

Step 10: Publish Your Website

After you are satisfied with your page arrangement, click on "Publish" on the top right corner of the dashboard. You will receive a prompt to confirm that you are ready to publish your site. Click "Confirm" to take your new podcast website live.

Step 11: Test Your Website

To ensure everything is in order, visit your website and try all the features. Click on all the links to ensure they're directed to your actual podcast episodes, and your socials. If all works well, congratulations on your new podcast page in WeWeb.
