How to create a personal health record system for patients in WeWeb?

Step 1: Start by signing up on WeWeb

The first thing you need to do is go to the site, www.weweb.io. You can create a free account by clicking on the "Sign Up" button on the top right corner of the home page. Fill in your details, create a password, and click on "Sign Up". After registration, you'll have to verify your email. Login to your mailbox and click on the verification link to activate your account.

Step 2: Set up a New Project

Once you're logged in, the site will take you to a dashboard. Click on the "New Project" button to start building your Personal Health Record (PHR) system.

Provide a name for your project, something like "Personal Health Record System". If you have premium services, you can also select the domain right now. Once done, click on "Create".

Step 3: Choose a Template

On the next page, you will see a variety of templates. Since we're creating a health record system, a blog or a service-based template may be preferred. Choose the template that most aligns with your vision and click "Use This Template".

Step 4: Customize Your Website

Once you have your template, start customizing. Click on different sections of the website and edit them directly. You can change the text, color, size, placement, and more.

First, you may want to edit the health information intake form. This will be the main feature of your PHR system where patients will input their health records. If the form doesn’t exist in your template, you can add one by clicking on the plus icon at the left toolbar and dragging a form to the page.

Customize the fields according to the details you need from your patients. Common examples would be name, age, sex, medical history, current medications, and so on.

Step 5: Set up the Database

WeWeb doesn't have an in-built database, so you would need to use a third-party app. Airtable is a good option for this.

Sign up on Airtable and create a base (database). Add fields in your database to match the fields in your health record form.

Once done, go back to WeWeb and click on the form you designed earlier. Add an action to the form which will push the data to your Airtable base.

Step 6: Review and Publish

After setting up the database, review your website again. Check if all links are functional and pages are navigable. Once you're satisfied, click on the publish button.

Your Personal Health Record system website should be up and running now. Patients can input their medical data which gets stored in your database, ensuring a seamless management of health records.

Remember, the site is fully customizable so continue refining as you get feedback from users.

Note: This setup only provides a basic framework. Depending on your requirements, you may need to integrate more complex systems or hire a professional developer. Also, make sure you're compliant with all healthcare-related privacy laws and regulations of your country when handling personal health records.
