How to create a membership site with WeWeb?

Step 1: Open WeWeb

Start by going to the WeWeb website. If you don't have an account yet, create one by clicking on the "Sign Up" button. If you do have an account already, simply click on "Log In" and enter your credentials to access your WeWeb dashboard.

Step 2: Create a New Website

Once you're logged in, create a new website by clicking on the "New Site" button on your dashboard. You will be prompted to choose a template for your new site. Select one that suits your preferences, and click "Start with this template".

Step 3: Customize Your Website

After selecting a template, you'll be directed to the website editor. Here you can customize the design and layout of your site to suit your needs. You can add, edit, or remove sections, change the text and images, and adjust the color scheme and fonts as per your preference.

Step 4: Add a New Page for Membership

Add a new page specifically for memberships. Navigate to the left-hand menu, find the "Pages" section, and click the "Add Page" button. Name this new page "Membership" or something similar.

Step 5: Add Content to Your Membership Page

On your new Membership page, you can add content that you want your members to see. This could be an introduction to what the membership entails, perks of becoming a member, types of memberships available, pricing, etc.

Step 6: Set Up Membership Feature

In order to enable the membership feature on WeWeb, you'll need to set up the mechanism through the settings. From the dashboard, select "Settings", then locate the "Memberships" tab. Enable it by toggling the switch.

Step 7: Configure Membership Options

Here you can configure the membership settings as per your business model. You can set up different membership levels, each with its own set of privileges, separate pricing, and a different set of content accessibilities. Members can be required to register and login to access content.

Step 8: Create a Member Registration Form

To allow people to register as members, create a form on your Membership page. This form should gather necessary information such as their name, email address, desired password, and payment information if applicable.

Step 9: Connect a Payment Processor

If you intend to charge for your membership, you'll need to connect a payment processor to your site. WeWeb allows you to integrate various payment processors like Stripe, PayPal, etc.

Step 10: Publish Your Website

Once you're happy with your Membership site set-up, click on the "Publish" button located at the top right corner of the dashboard. Your site is now live and ready to attract members!

Step 11: Test Your Membership Site

Ensure that your membership process works smoothly by going through the member registration process yourself. Make any necessary adjustments to ensure the process is simple and intuitive for users.

Finally, remember to promote your new site and the membership feature to reach your target audience and start attracting members.
