How to create a custom navigation menu in WeWeb?

Step 1: Log into your WeWeb account

The first step is to log into your existing WeWeb account. If you do not have an account, you will need to create one. To create a WeWeb account, you will need to provide your email address and set a password. Once you have your WeWeb account set up, you are good to continue to the next step.

Step 2: Go to your WeWeb dashboard

After you are logged into your WeWeb account, you should be directed to your dashboard. On the dashboard page, you will see various options to manage your website. This includes options to edit your existing websites or create a new website.

Step 3: Choose the website you wish to edit

From your dashboard, select the website which you wish to add the custom navigation menu to. Once you click on the website, it should navigate you to a new page where you can edit the chosen website.

Step 4: Navigate to the website layout page

Once you are in your chosen website's editing page, you should see a menu on the left-hand side of the page. From this menu, select the option labeled "Layout." This should navigate you to a new page where you can edit your website's layout.

Step 5: Add a Menu Widget to your layout

On the layout page, you should be able to see a representation of your current website layout. From the toolbar at the top of the page, click on the option labeled "Widgets," a dropdown menu will appear. From the dropdown menu, select "Menu." You should then see a new menu widget appear in your website's layout.

Step 6: Drag and Position the Menu Widget

Click and hold on the Menu widget to drag it to the desired position in your website's layout. This could be at the top, bottom, or the side of the page.

Step 7: Customize the Navigation Menu

Once your new Menu Widget is positioned correctly, click on the widget to customize it. On the right side of the page, a new menu will open from which you can alter the appearance, layout, and contents of the menu.

Step 8: Add and Arrange Menu Items

Within the Menu Widget customization menu, there should be an option labeled "Items." Click on this option to add or edit your menu items. From here, you can add new pages or sections, change the order of your items, and customize each item's appearance.

Step 9: Save Changes

Once you are satisfied with your new navigation menu, press the "Save" button at the top of the page. This will implement the new menu on your live website.

Step 10: Preview your new Navigation Menu

Lastly, to check that everything is as you wanted it to be, you can preview the changes you made by clicking on "Preview" at the top of the page. This will show you how your new custom navigation menu appears on your website.

By following these steps, you should be able to create a custom navigation menu on your WeWeb site that perfectly fits your needs and website design. Remember, you can always go back and tweak the menu as per your needs, even after saving your changes.
