How to access and interpret WeWeb's site analytics?

Step 1: Log in to your WeWeb Account

The first step to accessing your WeWeb’s site analytics is to log in to your account. Visit the WeWeb homepage and then click on the “Log In” button, typically located at the top right side of the page. You'd need to enter your credentials (username and password) that you set up when you created your WeWeb account.

Step 2: Open Your Dashboard

After successfully logging in, you will be sent to your account dashboard. This is where all your project sites are listed.

Step 3: Select your Website

Your website list is displayed on the dashboard. You will need to select the website whose analytics you want to access.

Step 4: Navigate to "Analytics"

Once you are on your selected website, look for the "Analytics" tab or button. This is typically located on the left hand side menu but can vary based on changes to the WeWeb platform or your personal display settings. Click on this.

Step 5: Accessing the Analytics Dashboard

After clicking on the "Analytics" tab, you will be led to the analytics dashboard of your selected website. This is the central place where all of your website's data is captured and displayed.

Step 6: Understanding the Analytics Dashboard

The dashboard presents various types of data in the form of charts and graphs. It will provide details such as number of site visits, page views, bounce rates, average session duration, traffic sources and many others.

Step 7: Analyzing the Traffic Metrics

The traffic metrics basically encompass details about your site visitors and their behavior. Metrics like sessions, users, and pageviews give you a clear idea about how many people are visiting your website, how often they return, and how many pages they navigate per visit.

Step 8: Analyzing the Behaviour Metrics

Behaviour Metrics like bounce rate and average session duration provide insights into user engagement with your website. Bounce rate is the percentage of visitors who left your website after viewing just one page. The average session duration metric reveals the average time a user spends on your website.

Step 9: Analyzing the Acquisition Metrics

Acquisition metrics will show you where your site traffic is coming from, be it direct visits, referrals, or via search engines. This helps you to see which channels are driving the most traffic to your website.

Step 10: Review Demographics and Interests Data

Understand who your audience is by reviewing the demographics and interests data. This can help you fine-tune your website and marketing strategy to better serve and attract your target audience.

Step 11: Make Data-Driven Decisions

After understanding your website's analytical data, utilize this information to make data-driven decisions. These decisions might include creating new content, optimizing current pages, or changing your marketing strategies.

Remember, the real power of site analytics lays not just in collecting data, but interpreting it and making strategic decisions based on that interpretation.
