Step 1: Create accounts on both Podia and Bubble.io if you do not have them already. Ensure you have the necessary permissions to perform integrations in both platforms.
Step 2: Navigate to Bubble.io and sign in with your account details.
Step 3: Once on the Bubble.io user dashboard, decide on which app you wish to integrate with Podia. You can either choose an existing app or create a new one.
Step 4: After choosing the desired app, click on the app's icon to enter the app's editor page.
Step 5: Within the app's editor, locate and click on the "Plugins" tab in the left sidebar.
Step 6: Inside the Plugins tab, you can add new plugins. Since there is currently no direct plugin for Podia in the Bubble.io plugin library, we will need to add an API Connector plugin. Type 'API Connector' into the search bar, select it from the results, and click on the 'Add plugin' button.
Step 7: After adding the API Connector, navigate back to the editor dashboard and then click on the 'Settings' tab on the left sidebar, then select the 'API' option.
Step 8: On the API page, enable the options for 'GET', 'POST', 'PATCH', 'PUT', and 'DELETE'. Click on 'Add another API Collection' to create a new one.
Step 9: In the new API Collection, input the necessary details. Name your API, for easy understanding for example named it 'Podia API'.
Step 10: Navigate to Podia and sign into your account. In the sidebar, locate and click on "Settings" and then "API". Here you will find your API key. Copy this key.
Step 11: Go back to your Bubble.io app and enter this API Key into the space provided in your Podia API Collection.
Step 12: Next, you'll want to run through each common API request type (GET, POST, etc.) and map what parameters are needed for each.
Step 13: Once done mapping these out, save the API Collection.
Step 14: You can now go back to your application, click on "Workflow" and in the API section, you should see actions related to Podia. These signify successful integration.
Step 15: Finally, test the integration by running an action that would trigger the API call. You should see the action updating on your Podia account, which confirms that the integration has been successful.
Please note, integration between Podia and Bubble.io might require further customization based on your specific needs. Always test the integration thoroughly to ensure it is working as expected.
