How to integrate Bubble.io with Pardot?

Step 1: Create your app in Bubble.io

Before we can integrate Bubble.io with Pardot, you will need to have an app created in Bubble.io. If you don't have an app yet, go to Bubble.io and sign up for a new account. After signing up, create a new app from the dashboard.

Step 2: Access your Bubble.io API

Next, you will need to access your Bubble.io API key. Bubble.io uses a Rest API, which will allow you to send data to Pardot. Go to the data tab in your Bubble.io dashboard and click on the API sub tab. Enable the “This app exposes a GET Endpoint” checkbox.

Step 3: Find your Pardot API User Key

Now, go to Pardot and get your API User Key. This key is usually found in the Account Settings of your Pardot account. If you can't find it, you may need to reach out to Pardot's support for assistance.

Step 4: Generate your Pardot API Key

After obtaining your Pardot User Key, the next step is to generate your API Key. Pardot uses this API Key for all future requests from your apps. You can do this by going to the Pardot developer API documentation and navigating to the section on authentification.

Step 5: Configure your Bubble.io app

Return to Bubble.io and go to your app's settings. Under the API section, add a new API provider. Set the provider as Pardot and input the API User Key and API Key you obtained from your Pardot account. Make sure the 'Enable as Data API' checkbox is selected.

Step 6: Map your Bubble.io data to Pardot

Under the Data Tab in Bubble.io, click on Data Types. Here you can map the data you want to send to Pardot. For example, if you are collecting email addresses in your Bubble app, you could map this data to the email field in Pardot.

Step 7: Test your integration

Finally, test your integration. Create a new data entry in your Bubble app and check to see if the data shows up in your Pardot account. If it does, congratulations, you have successfully integrated Bubble.io with Pardot.

Remember, whenever you add new data fields to your Bubble app that you want to send to Pardot, you will need to map these in the data types section of Bubble.io. Also, any changes in your Pardot account, such as new fields or changes to existing ones, will need to be updated in your Bubble app.

Step 8: Launch your app

Now that all the hard work of integrating is done, it's time to launch your app! Don't forget to monitor your data and make sure everything is being sent to Pardot as expected. Good luck with your new app.
