How to integrate Bubble.io with Oberlo?

In this guide, I'll walk you through the detailed steps on how to integrate Bubble.io with Oberlo. Please note that direct integration between Bubble.io and Oberlo isn't available at the moment, so we would need to use a third-party service like Integromat, Zapier, or Automate.io for this integration.

Pre-requisites

  • You have to have an account on Bubble.io, Oberlo and whichever third-party integration platform you chose (Zapier, Integromat, Automate.io)

Here are the steps:

Step 1: Setting up Zapier

  • Step 1a:

First, navigate to Zapier website and log in to your account. If you don't have a Zapier account, make sure to register for one.

  • Step 1b:

After logging in, click on 'Make a Zap!' at the top of the dashboard.

Step 2: Setting up the Trigger

  • Step 2a:

For the Trigger app, select "Oberlo". You will have to connect and authenticate your Oberlo account to Zapier.

  • Step 2b:

Now choose a trigger. This will be an event in Oberlo that will start the Zap. You might want to select "New Product" or "New Order". After selecting, click "Continue".

  • Step 2c:

Now, test your trigger by clicking on "Test & Continue".

Step 3: Setting up the Action

  • Step 3a:

After the trigger is set up, it's time to set the Action App. Here, search for 'Webhooks' by Zapier and select it.

  • Step 3b:

Then, select the action event as “POST”. Here, Zapier will create a new resource using the information provided by the action settings

  • Step 3c:

Now, you have to set up the endpoint URL. This is where you obtain webhook URL from Bubble.io:

  • Step 3c (I): Log in to your Bubble.io account.

  • Step 3c (II): Navigate to the Data Tab and select API from the sub-menu.

  • Step 3c (III): Here, you click on 'Get this endpoint', which will provide the API URL.

  • Step 3d:

After having the endpoint URL, go back to Zapier and paste this URL in the URL field.

  • Step 3e:

In Data field, you will map the data you want to send from Oberlo to Bubble.io.

  • Step 3f:

Once everything is set, click on "Continue" and then on "Test & Continue". If the test is successful, your setup is correct. If it's not, you have to check your settings.

Step 4: Enable the Zap

  • Step 4a:

After ensuring that the test is successful, now go to the bottom of the page and enable the Zap by clicking on the switch button.

And voila! You have now integrated Bubble.io with Oberlo. By setting up this integration, whenever the trigger event happens in Oberlo, the action will happen automatically in Bubble.io through Zapier.
