To integrate Bubble.io with Campaign Monitor, follow the steps outlined below. Be sure to replace placeholders (for example "YOUR_API_KEY") with your actual data:
Step 1: Get Your API Key from Campaign Monitor
First, you need to obtain your API key from Campaign Monitor.
1.1 Navigate to the Campaign Monitor website and log in to your account.
1.2 Click on your account name in the top right corner, and select "Manage Account" from the dropdown menu.
1.3 In the sidebar on the left, click "API keys".
1.4 Find the API key for the client you wish to integrate, and click "Show API key". If no API key exists, click "Generate new API key".
1.5 Copy the API key provided - you will need this for integration in Bubble.io in the next step.
Step 2: Integrate Campaign Monitor with Bubble.io
2.1 Log into your Bubble.io account and navigate to your application.
2.2 Go to the Plugins tab on the left-hand side and click "Add Plugins".
2.3 Search for "Campaign Monitor" using the search bar.
2.4 Click "Install" on the Campaign Monitor Plugin.
2.5 After installing the plugin, you will see a page to set it up. In the "Shared Header" section, fill in the API key. Paste the API key you copied from Campaign Monitor here, then click "Initialize the call".
Step 3: Create workflows using Campaign Monitor
3.1 Navigate to your desired page in the Bubble.io application.
3.2 Choose an event that you want to trigger the Campaign Monitor workflow (such as a button click), and build a new workflow for this event.
3.3 In the workflow editor, choose the action "Plugins" > "Campaign Monitor - Create Subscriber".
3.4 Fill in the required fields (such as 'email', 'Name', etc.) with dynamic values using the "Insert Dynamic Data" button. Fill in the 'ListID' field with the List ID value from Campaign Monitor for which you want to add the subscriber.
3.5 Click "OK" to complete the workflow process.
Congratulations! You have now successfully integrated Bubble.io with Campaign Monitor. Subsequent to this setup, when the event you chose earlier is triggered in your Bubble.io app, the built workflow will use the Campaign Monitor Create Subscriber action to add a new subscriber to your Campaign Monitor list.
